Marvel Rivals players have found a new exploit that lets Doctor Strange and Jeff trap enemies in places they can’t get out of.

Marvel Rivals players are always quick to discover new techniques and strategies to win. Though many of them are often the result of combining multiple abilities to achieve a team wipe, some players would occasionally go all the way to take advantage of exploits instead.

For example, there was an exploit that allowed Wolverine to pull off an OP attack. There’s also apparently a way to reset a certain Team-Up skill’s cooldown, adding value to the fight.

Now, players have discovered a new game-breaking exploit that lets your enemies get teleported outside the playable map.

Doctor Strange and Jeff can trap players outside of the playable map

It’s no secret that some locations in the game are bugged. The Klyntar map, for example, has a spot that can lock you out if you get inside there, such as the case with this one player who accidentally leaped too high with Hulk, sealing their fate for the rest of the match.

This exploit essentially takes advantage of this kind of spot. By having Doctor Strange open his portal and placing it the right way in that area, other players could easily end up in a place they can’t get out of for the rest of the match.

You don’t have to wait for enemies to meet their demise — with the right timing, Jeff can use his ult to swallow an entire team and dump everyone into it. Thus, players are stuck on this side of the map that’s not supposed to be playable.

That is, unless you’re willing to disconnect and rejoin the game — which is likely already too late by the time you’re back, as one player pointed out from their experience.

The team that used the exploit can then just capture the point or push the objective all the way until the end, ruining the match overall. In a clip shared in a Reddit thread that has been taken down, this exploit appears to be also present in the Tokyo 2099: Spider-Islands map.

As usual, it’s worth noting that there’s always a chance you will get banned if you try this out. After all, NetEase is known to take action against those who play against the rules quickly.
