LOS ANGELES, CA — In a daring and heroic act of selfless bravery, California Governor Gavin Newsom rushed headlong into a blazing fire to inform the trapped victims that Trump is bad.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing Newsom going from house to house in the blazing Palisades, courageously running into buildings to remind everyone inside that Trump was not an ideal President and that they should avoid liking him at all costs.
"Trump bad! Trump bad, folks!" cried Newsom to one screaming victim. "But do not worry, I just passed another law to fight Trump and make sure he doesn't ruin your life. We wouldn't want your life to be ruined. Wow, this fire is hot. Farewell, citizen!"
Newsom then swooped off to inform another citizen of Trump's badness.
"I've never seen anyone move so fast," said a bystander who witnessed the incident. "Gavin is a wonderful governor! I sure can't wait to vote for him again!"
At publishing time, Newsom had responded to accusations of his gross incompetence that led to the wildfires by opening up another formal inquiry into Trump being really bad.
Trump had laid out his plan to absorb Canada and rename it to something better.
