Today's Daily Reflection focuses on the parable told by Jesus of the of the workers in the vineyard.
It tells the story of a landowner who rented out a vineyard to farmers. The workers later killed servants of the landowner when they went to collect their boss's share of the fruit. He then sent his son to collect the fruit assuming the workers would treat his heir differently - only for him to be killed as well.
The Daily Reflection highlights: "Jesus, of course, was talking about himself. God had sent prophets to warn his people, but they'd been rejected.
"Finally, God had sent his one and only son, Jesus. Yet, instead of heeding his words, the crowd had crucified him."
