A Grand Theft Auto fan actually turned up at Rockstar Games’ office with a leek after leaker Cyberleek offered to drop more videos if people protested in favor of him.

Since August 18, there has been a wave of Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks appearing on social media. These leaks have come from Cyberleek, with the leaker taunting Rockstar Games by showing off parts of cutscenes and even spraying ‘LEEK’ into a wall.

So far, the leaks have shown off driving, combat, and flying mechanics, as well as a host of radio stations, NPC interactions, and other features such as the weapon wheel and energy bars.

There have been some claims that Cyberleek has a playable build of the game, while others believe the leaker just has certain areas unlocked. However, the leaker has promised more clips, including potential story spoilers.

In the August 24 leak, the leaker even encouraged fans to show up at Rockstar’s offices if they want to see part of the story before release.

“DO YOU WANT A LUCIA-LED PROLOGUE? CL HAS BEEN EVADING SPOILERS. CL JUST CANNOT MAKE THAT DECISION, SO A POLL IS REQUIRED. TO SHOW SUPPORT AT LEAST 10 GAMERS NEED TO SHOW UP DRESSED AS LEEKS IN FRONT OF TAKE2/ROCK* OFFICES HOLDING GAME DISCS DURING WORKING HOURS.”

Well, one fan sort of heeded that call, appearing outside Rockstar North in Edinburgh, holding a leek and demanding that the ‘Beach’ video be released by Cyberleek.

Grand Theft Auto fans have roundly mocked the idea of people turning up outside Rockstar’s office too.

“These clowns, it’s probably only the beginning,” one said. “This is the single most embarrassing thing I’ve ever watched,” another said. “Literally something you’d see from some random npc encounter,” commented another.

Rockstar is still planning to go ahead with the extended look on Netflix come August 27, and Take-Two has been striking down uploads of the leaks.

They have also reportedly issued subpoenas to a number of platforms while trying to hunt Cyberleek. Another report also said that devs are “furious” about things getting out so early.
