A retailer has created a “peace treaty” for GTA 6 fans to negotiate uninterrupted gaming time when Rockstar’s sequel launches in November.
With fans likely to spend countless hours exploring Vice City, Finnish retailer Gigantti is hoping to prevent arguments over console time and household responsibilities by getting everyone to agree to the rules in advance.
GTA 6 peace treaty lets players negotiate gaming time
Dubbed the “Grand Game Deal,” the agreement allows players to negotiate how much uninterrupted time they’ll get with GTA 6 and what they’re willing to offer in return.
Available through a dedicated website, the treaty comes in three difficulty settings: Easy, Normal, and Hard.
Easy mode guarantees a full day of uninterrupted gaming when GTA 6 launches on November 19, while Normal extends that privilege to the entire launch week.
Hard mode, meanwhile, is for players who want to get lost in the game for an entire month. In exchange, they’ll need to negotiate a list of favors, which can include household chores, gifts, or spending quality time together.

Each agreement can be customized to suit both parties, with the completed treaty signed and printed out for display at home.
“When gaming time has been agreed in black and white, the drama stays on the screen instead of spilling into the living room,” said Gigantti.
“Gaming should be fun and enjoyable, but the Grand Game Deal also looks after the home team.”
There’s an added incentive for Finnish players, too. Anyone who signs an agreement can receive a 10% discount code for regularly priced gaming products at Gigantti and enter a prize draw to win a PS5 and a copy of GTA 6.
The promotion runs until November 15 and is only available in Finland, although the treaty itself can be accessed in English.
