The PC version of Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to launch in “Q1” of 2027, according to a new report from Gamesbeat.

With November 19 getting ever closer, Grand Theft Auto fans don’t have all that many questions about GTA 6 that have been left unanswered by Rockstar Games. The price has long been confirmed, a Collector’s Edition has been revealed, and it doesn’t seem like a physical disc is ever going to happen.

However, there are still some unanswered questions surrounding the future of Grand Theft Auto Online and the PC port of GTA 6. On the former, there have been a few rumblings that it will come early in 2027. Twitch CEO Dan Clancy said he’d “spent a lot of time” talking to Rockstar on that front.

Now, according to a new report from Gamesbeat, it looks like the PC version of the new Grand Theft Auto will drop in a similar timeframe.

PC version of GTA 6 set to release in “first quarter” of 2027

As per their October 13 report, Gamesbeat “confirmed that Rockstar plans to release the PC version of GTA VI in the first quarter of 2027” after speaking to four sources who are “familiar” with the studio’s plans.

This report hasn’t been confirmed by Rockstar themselves just yet, and Gamesbeat noted that the studio declined to comment when asked too.

It would represent a rapid turnaround for a PC port, seeing as both GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption had around a year of console exclusivity before launching for PC players.

Back on October 7, Xbox CSO Matthew Ball denied a report that said they would have the exclusive streaming rights to Grand Theft Auto 6, potentially letting PC players play the game without the need to own a console.

“While the excitement for GTAVI and XBOX is great to see, it has also led to some misreporting,” Ball posted on X.

Additionally, Cyberleek has threatened to leak a 200GB “playable” build of GTA 6, provided his cryptocurrency hits certain targets.
