The Halo series not only redefined the first-person shooter market, but it opened a new pathway for video game soundtracks. Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori crafted the soundtrack for each of the first three entries in the Halo series, offering unique sounds with each score.
The first entry, Halo: Combat Evolved, combined orchestral cues with unique instruments like military snares. This box set features 83 tracks from the first three Halo games, each remastered specially for vinyl and pressed onto eight black heavyweight LPs. Each game will have a unique wide-spined outer sleeve, which features printed inner sleeves of the original Halo game logos. A collector's edition box will feature silver laminate wrap and a debossed Halo logo, acting as the ultimate display item.
Additionally, original sleeve artwork has been created by Art Director and Concept Artist Isaac Hannaford, who served as former Lead Concept Artist and contributor to Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo Reach.
