Harvard University is on high alert after a bomb threat as students were issued a notice to "shelter in".
The Police Department responded to a bomb threat at Memorial Hall Monday morning.
The University sent an emergency alert around 8:45am local time, instructing students near Memorial Hall to shelter in place and telling others to avoid the area until further notice.
The alert read: “FOLLOW instructions from law enforcement on scene. WAIT for further instructions from university officials."
