How to complete Mixing Mania in Schedule 1

Schedule 1 may be all about making the most money for the least amount of effort, but to do that, you need to create some stellar mixes. This is exactly where the Mixing Mania quest comes in.

To help you get started in Schedule 1, you’ll be met with a series of quests. Some introduce you to how to make money and level up, some show you how to recruit a dealer, and others reveal how to gain more customers. However, the most useful quest teaches you all about mixing, which is ideal if you want to make some of the best weed, cocaine, or meth in the game.

That being said, thanks to a bug, or just a lot of new features, Mixing Mania can be a little complicated to complete. So, here’s how to complete Mixing Mania in Schedule 1 and how to get around that annoying little bug.

How to complete Mixing Mania quest

Talk to Uncle Nelson

Once you begin the Mixing Mania quest in Schedule 1, you’ll be instructed to speak to Uncle Nelson, who’s the main lead of the game’s quests.

So head over to the nearest Payphone and pick up the ringing phone.

Get a Mixing Station

He’ll tell you to grab a Mixing Station, which can be brought from Dan’s Hardware for $500. Head over there, purchase the Mixing Station, and bring it back to your apartment above the Fat Dragon Chinese.

Once you’ve done that, place the item down, and you’ll be instructed to head over and purchase more ingredients to make different weed strains.

Go to Gas Mart & buy ingredients

So, head over to the Gas Mart, which will be on the other side of town from where you are right now, over the bridge.

Once there, you’ll need to purchase at least one mixing ingredient. These can be a Donut, Banana, Cuke, or Paracetamol. Though we suggest Banana or Cuke, as it’s much cheaper than the alternatives.

Start a new mix at the Mixing Station

With that brought, head over to your mixing station back in the room and start your first mix. For this, you’ll need unpackaged weed and the mixer.

Press E to interact with the Mixing Station and put in your weed bud and a mixer, so the item you just brought. Then, press begin and you’ll make your first strain. Just collect the product, package it up, and the quest will be complete.

How to fix Mixing Mania bug

Unfortunately, many players have reported a bug with the Mixing Mania questline, revealing that the ‘place the Mixing Station’ won’t work.

To fix the Mixing Mania bug, you’ll need to ensure you place the Mixing Station in your apartment above the Fat Dragon Chinese. Anywhere else, and it won’t register. If you’re still having issues, save the game, quit, and place it back in the aforementioned apartment.

So, if you’ve skipped ahead and have unlocked the bungalow, you won’t be able to complete this quest there. Head back to the Fat Dragon Chinese and complete mixing there. Once you have you can easily move the station back to your main house.
