Under the policy, new non-condensing, natural gas-fired water heaters will be prohibited for sale starting in 2029 due to concerns about carbon-dioxide emissions. The policy comes during President Biden's twilight days in the White House and was quietly announced without a press release.
If the policy takes effect, as it is slated to on March 11, a little less than 40% of the tankless water heaters currently on the market would be banned, according to an estimate from the Appliance Standards Awareness Project.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
As a reminder, it wasn't ancient history when the Dims were touting natural gas as "clean burning" and would save our souls from our carbon sins if we used more of it.

Now they hate natural gas more than Stacey Abrams hates Weight Watchers.
You can't tell me that the Dim leaders are so dumb that they can't make up their minds on if natural gas is good or bad for the environment. They're obviously using their warmageddon cult to be manipulative.

This is a poorly written headline. In common parlance, “drops” would mean “letting go of” or releasing and not using. For instance, the Patriots dropped Coach Mayo from his role as head coach. The other meaning of drop, to insert into, is less commonly employed and is not a good choice for a headline.

Can’t wait until President Trump in a few weeks from now speaks of this and why this agency (guessing EPA) is being closed down for good and will not receive any further funds. Sadly the GOPe/RINOs will not cooperate so these type of thoughts remain fantasy.

Natural Gas, which is mostly Methane, is the cleanest natural fuel in existence,
Maybe Hydrogen is cleaner in theory but it has its own set of problems that makes it much more expensive to produce and handle.
Nuclear would be great if we could only convince (or bypass) the greenies.

2029? The natural gas grid will be in shambles by then.

The House needs to impeach ChiComjoe for giving aid and comfort to the domestic and foreign enemies of the United States... even if the Senate is unlikely to convict him.
