Her love life is taking off.
Isla Fisher joked about being single in a new airline commercial months after announcing her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen.
The “Confessions of a Shopaholic” star, 48, hinted at being back on the dating market in a new commercial for Air New Zealand posted to her Instagram on Monday.
In the ad, the Australian actress is seen sitting on a flight beside a little girl flying solo to meet her dad after bidding farewell to her mom in Tasmania, Australia.
During the flight, the actress and child become friends and pass the time watching movies, eating snacks and eventually napping on each other’s shoulders.
When they land at the airport in New Zealand, the little girl is greeted by her father with a big hug.
“Dad, I made a new friend. Can she come for a playdate sometime?” the kid asks her father.
Just then, the dad spots the red-haired beauty and his face lights up.
“I’d love that,” the dad says, prompting Fisher to flirtatiously respond, “How about now?”
The father nods in agreement and the trio all leave together. As the commercial fades out, Fisher asks the child, “Wait, is your dad flying solo, too?” seemingly referencing her real-life single status.
“Uh-huh,” the child confirms.
“What a ride!” the “Wedding Crashers” actress captioned the video.
Several fans flooded the comments section of the post to rave over the promotional short.
“I thought [this] was a new movie,” one person commented on the post.
“Idc what anyone says this is cute,” a fan person gushed.
“The makings of a great RomCom! 😂,” a third netizen wrote, with another adding, “Well she’s adorable and can sell anything!!”
In April, Fisher revealed she was ending her 14-year marriage to the “Borat” actor via a social media statement.
“After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down,” the former couple captioned a photo of them both dressed in tennis outfits.
“In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage,” they continued. “We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change.”
Cohen and Fisher, who met in 2001 and tied the knot in 2010, have kept their three children off social media and out of the spotlight.
“We forever share in our devotion and love for our children,” they said in their statement. “We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy.”
