Speaking on GB News Breakfast, the hosts brandished the latest gong to grace the channel’s glittering trophy cabinet.

“We are absolutely delighted that you chose us because it was voted for by you, the Great British public,” Ellie beamed.

“That's why it means the world to us. Because it comes from you. So thank you,” she added.

Alex concurred, enthusing: “It's all thanks to all of you at home for voting for us, because it is a public vote.

“I think that also says something about our channel, doesn't it?”

“I just think it's a testament to GB News,” Ellie agreed.

“We take our shows all across the country, don't we? We have live audience shows where we get to meet all of you guys.

“We have GB News.com and USA. We're always in contact with you, always in communication.

“We always know what you have, what you think about our programs, what you think about the stories that we're covering.”
