Ivanka Trump enjoyed some quality time with her son Joseph over the weekend as they spent the day out on a boat fishing off of the coast of Fort Lauderdale.

Ivanka, 43, took to her Instagram Story on Monday to share some snaps from the fun activity, but there was one glaring detail in her photos that wasn't so joyous.

In one picture, Ivanka is seen posing next to Joseph, 10, and his male instructor as they pose proudly with their catch of the day.

Ivanka's middle child was dressed in a pair of gray sweatpants, a black T-shirt and matching sneakers as he grinned from ear to ear whilst clutching the fish.

His famous mom showed off her slender figure in a pair of black pants with a zip up leopard print top and oversized sunglasses.

But Ivanka didn't seem to mind that the floor of the boat was splattered with blood and still went barefoot for the occasion.

The First Daughter appeared to narrowly avoid standing directly on the red patches and looked delighted to be spending some one-on-one quality time with her son, whom she shares with husband Jared Kushner.

She also shared a snap of Joseph on his own as he held up his barracuda, as well as a video of the youngster in action with his fishing rod.

The mother-of-three also shared a snap of her 10-year-old son proudly posing with the fish he had caught

Ivanka also shares 13-year-old daughter Arabella and eight-year-old son Theodore with Jared, 44, whom she married in 2009.

Back in January, she revealed that her three children can be 'brutal' when comparing her to their father.

During an appearance on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast, Ivanka admitted that her kids will sometimes contrast her cooking to that of her husband's, as she wakes up and makes them breakfast everyday.

'I should've said that Jared cooks the most successful breakfast, he makes pancakes,' the blonde said. 'Really great pancakes, like every other morning.'

'I tried to make French Toast the other day, and I'm actually a decent cook, but because he was traveling - I don't know if you're experiencing this yet - [the kids] can be brutal to me when I don't do something as well as their father,' she admitted.

'So my kids just looked at my [attempt], I tried to make this French Toast and I was getting my son's lunch ready, I forgot about it, it burnt, and I heard for the next twenty minutes how my French toast will never compete with their dad's pancakes,' she said, adding that it was 'so unfair.'

The heiress even revealed that she had a 'debate' with her kids about the French toast including how long it should be soaked in the egg and milk mixture, as you don't want to make it too soggy.

But just last month, the mom-of-three shared an ambiguous post on Instagram with a reference to not caring about your parents' pride.

During an appearance on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast back in January, Ivanka admitted that her kids can be 'brutal'

Taking to her Instagram Story, the eldest daughter of President Donald Trump re-shared a post from the page Build Alpha which was captioned: 'The two people that matter the most.'

The particular slide that Ivanka shared read, 'There are only two people whose pride should truly matter to you - not your parents, not your friends, not even your mentors,' and she captioned it: 'Great thread.'

The next slide in the post said, 'Just two: the eight-year-old, full of dreams, and the 80-year-old you, full of memories. Both are watching you now.

'The child you once were is still inside you, filled with wonder and hope, waiting to see if you'll chase the dreams they once believed in.'

It continued: 'It was never about being perfect; it was about being true to yourself, about making the little one proud and giving the older one peace. And if you've done that, then you've already won.'
