Joe Biden’s prostate cancer has spread and is ‘very debilitating,’ son Hunter reveals

Hunter Biden has revealed his father’s prostate cancer is spreading and causing the former president to suffer “debilitating” pain.

“The cancer has spread, metastasized into his bones and further,” he told the BBC about former President Biden Friday. “It’s very painful and it’s very debilitating in many respects.”

Biden, 83, announced last May that he was diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer.

However, he has continued to play a public role, appearing with Maryland Democrats at their “Fight Back and Win” gala near Baltimore in late June.

Earlier in June, he appeared at the opening of the new Obama library in Chicago. He drew comments when he came to a lectern afterward and asked, “Where’s my granddaughter?”

President Biden’s 2024 debate disaster, which resulted in him dropping off his party’s ticket, continues to play out in his party — and some seasoned officials have been toppled by upstart opponents.

Hunter, 56, noted that his dad is still “out there” occasionally. “He’s still doing his thing,” he said. “He so believes in this country.”

“It’s really sad to watch,” Hunter said of his father. “The only thing that I’d say about my dad, about his health right now, is I wish he would complain more, because it’s not good.”

Hunter has taken a more active public role in recent months, posting actively on X and sometimes defending his father’s political legacy.
