A judge suspended Tiger Woods’ driver’s license for five years Wednesday morning following a last-minute plea deal.
The judge began the hearing by noting that the defense and prosecution had reached an agreement that resulted in Woods’ DUI charge being reduced to reckless driving and refusal to submit to a lawful chemical or physical test, according to Page Six.
“If you drive for any reason at all, you will be going back to jail,” the judge sternly cautioned.

Woods originally entered a not guilty plea and was slated to appear in court September 8, but a motion was filed Tuesday that fast-tracked the case at the Martin County Courthouse in Stuart.
Woods was handed a $1,000 fine for the first charge and $500 for the second, with both offenses carrying a five-year driving ban that runs concurrently, according to Page Six.
The outlet reported that Woods entered a no-contest plea to the two charges and ticked off the box that read, “I feel it to be in my best interest not to contest the evidence the state would present against me.”
His attorney, Douglas Duncan, and girlfriend Vanessa Trump were also in attendance in the courtroom.
Woods’ legal woes stemmed from a rollover crash that occurred earlier this year. He refused to submit to a urinalysis at the time.
