Russia’s latest compact assault rifles and loitering munitions—combat-proven during the war in Ukraine—will be showcased at an international defense exhibition in Pretoria. According to the Kalashnikov Group’s press service, the Russian manufacturer will display its products at the Africa Aerospace and Defense Expo, taking place from September 16 to 20.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see the newest compact assault rifles: the AK-15K and AK-19K.
Additionally, the KUB-2-E guided loitering munition will make its international debut. The announcement notes that this unmanned system has already proven its effectiveness in Ukraine.
The exhibition will also feature standard small arms models, including the AK-203 and AK-204 assault rifles, the Chukavin sniper rifle, and the PPK-20 submachine gun. Three models of the Lebedev pistol will also be demonstrated.
In the unmanned aerial systems sector, developers will present the RUS-PE portable reconnaissance and strike system. The civilian product line will be represented by the SKAT 350 M aircraft.
