She loves her pearls.

Kate Middleton attended the annual Commonwealth Day service in London for the first time in two years, marking the special occasion with a sentimental four-strand pearl choker passed down from Queen Elizabeth.

The Princess of Wales doubled up on the gemstone with pearl and diamond earrings once owned by Princess Diana, which she also wears on repeat.

The Japanese government reportedly gifted the queen the luxe piece — made by Garrard, the first official Crown Jeweller — in 1975 during her first visit to Japan, according to The Royal Watcher.

Princess Diana also famously sported the necklace, which includes a diamond clasp in a unique curved shape, in the ’80s.

Middleton has worn the strands multiple times, including at Queen Elizabeth’s funeral in 2022.

In December, she wore the same earring and necklace combination with a monochromatic burgundy coat dress outfit.

The princess last wore the striking look underneath a cape in the same hue while welcoming South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and First Lady Kim Keon Hee to London for a state visit in 2023.

For the service on Thursday, she paired the number with a coordinating Gina Foster pillbox hat, suede bow-embellished Miu Miu bag and suede Gianvito Rossi heels.

Prince William, meanwhile, arrived at the annual ceremony in a navy suit, white button-up, maroon tie and black oxfords.

Other royal guests included King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince Richard and Princess Anne.

Middleton was unable to attend the service last year as she was still recovering from a planned abdominal surgery in January 2024.

After completing cancer treatment, the princess slowly began returning to her royal duties in the last few months of 2024.

This January, Middleton announced that she’s in remission from cancer and has been getting back to her public appearances.
