Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has launched a scathing attack on Labour's economic policies, claiming families are facing a "£3,500 hit" due to rising bills under the current Government.
Speaking to GB News' Political Editor Christopher Hope, Badenoch blamed the Government directly for increasing costs.
"All of us are suffering because of Labour's choices," she said.
She added: "They made bad choices and the chickens are coming home to roost and the people who are paying for this are hard-working families out there, your viewers."

Badenoch accused Labour of lacking economic understanding, claiming they "don't understand what it takes to run a business."
She told GB News: "Labour doesn't really understand how the economy works. They don't understand what it takes to run a business, the amount of graft that you need to get a business going. They've all worked in trade unions, the public sector.
"They don't understand how much risk people take. We've got to get that message across that we're the only ones who are standing up for all those hard-working people out there who are hit by these costs."
She positioned the Conservatives as the only party "standing up for all those hard-working people."

Badenoch pledged to reverse Labour's increase in employers' National Insurance contributions if the Conservatives return to power.
"We need to make sure that we stop putting taxes on working people. We would not have done this," she stated firmly. She described the tax as a "jobs tax" that would "kill jobs" and lead to "lower wages."
The Conservative leader emphasised her party's readiness to address economic challenges in the future.
"In four years' time, we're going to need a party that can clear up Labour's mess, that has the experience, the credibility, the knowledge, the expertise," she said.
"Only the Conservatives can do that," Badenoch concluded.
