Krispy Kreme and Pop-Tarts have kicked off the New Year with a tasty collaboration.
The mashup officially hit shelves on Monday with three new treats that pay homage to an iconic Pop-Tarts flavor.
'Krispy Kreme and Pop-Tarts are coming together for the very first time - you know the result will be crazy good,' said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme's chief growth officer.
The unique flavors are available at participating Krispy Kreme locations nationwide - and only for a limited time.
Carb-lovers will be delighted to find three new mouth-watering desserts - a frosted strawberry dounut, a frosted chocolatey fudge donut and a frosted brown sugar cinnamon donut.
Each treat is topped with a mini bite-sized Pop-Tart - either crushed or whole.
The Pop-Tarts Frosted Strawberry Doughnut is the only stuffed pastry of the collection.
Using an unglazed donut shell as its base, it is loaded with strawberry filling and dipped in shortbread icing.

The Pop-Tarts Frosted Chocolatey Fudge Doughnut consists of an original glazed donut dipped in chocolate icing and topped with brownie batter flavored buttercreme.
Crushed Frosted Chocolatey Fudge Pop-Tarts and tiny, white crunchy sprinkles accompany the buttercreme on top.
Lastly, the Pop-Tarts Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon dessert pairs a cinnamon sugar donut with a brown sugar cinnamon cream cheese flavored buttercreme - finished off with a mini Pop-Tart bite.

Now customers will also be able to order the new collection through Krispy Kreme's website or app for either pickup or delivery.
Additionally, select grocery stores - including Walmart, Kroger, Food Lion, Publix, Stater Brothers and Racetrac gas stations - will receive daily deliveries of six-pack boxes.
In other news for Krispy Kreme, a collaboration with McDonalds is in the works, People reported.
The two companies announced that McDonald's was working to carry some of Krispy Kreme's most beloved treats.
Certain McDonald's locations in Chicago kicked off the collaboration by selling donuts in October.
