Latest LA Fires Update Will Likely Infuriate Voters

The entire political leadership in California deserves to be in jail. Okay, maybe that’s too much, but everyone must be fired. As the media focuses on the raging wildfires engulfing Los Angeles County, the lack of water and firefighters, and Mayor Karen Bass being in Africa when the blaze erupted, we have new developments on how this top-down failure in disaster response came about.
Bass was already torched for cutting almost $20 million from the Los Angeles Fire Department a few months ago. The city opted to use that money to support transgender cafes, weirdo lefty-wing art, and gay choirs (via Daily Caller):

I live here. The headline assumes far too much. Never— do not ever — underestimate the leftist capacity to, by and means including outright lunacy, recast their real and present pain as the fault of something other than their own voting.

This is the selfsame mindframe that will result in armies in the field at Armageddon thinking they’re gonna shoot the returning Christ outta the sky. There's a report going around saying that a few days before the fires broke out, Bass asked for another $49 million cut in the fire dept budget. Probably didn't have any effect since it was only a few days before the fire, but it does reflect where Bass stands on it.
The Babylon Bee reported that Newsom has learned that water is useful in putting out fires. While The BB is usually just poking the bear with a big stick, they may be on to something here!
