NBC is airing a “Law and Order: SVU” marathon in celebration of series mainstay Mariska Hargitay.
NBC will air three episodes of “SVU” back-to-back on Sept. 10 featuring Hargitay’s Emmy-winning performance in the 2005 episode “911” as well as two other episodes for which she received Emmy nominations. The full lineup can be seen below.
The marathon comes four days ahead of the 2026 Emmy Awards, which will air on NBC with Hargitay set to host. She is the first woman to host the annual TV awards show in 15 years.
Hargitay has been a central cast member on “SVU” since the show launched in 1999. She has received eight total Emmy nominations for her role as Capt. Olivia Benson, as well as two Golden Globe noms with one win. She also now serves as an executive producer and director on the series.
In addition to her work on “SVU,” Hargitay received two Emmy nominations for the documentary “My Mom Jayne” — one for outstanding documentary or nonfiction special and another for outstanding directing for a documentary/nonfiction program.
“Law and Order: SVU” will air its 28th season this fall, beginning Oct. 8. It is set to air its 600th episode later this year. Episodes stream the day after their linear debut on Peacock.
The series is executive produced by Dick Wolf, Michele Fazekas, Hargitay, Ken Brown, Rebecca McGill, Anastasia Puglisi and Peter Jankowski. It is produced by Universal Television in association with Wolf Entertainment.
