He knows “How to Love.”
Lil Wayne, 44, revealed he’s engaged to his ex-girlfriend, Madi Cannon, 23, in a video posted to Instagram Monday by his fellow Hot Boys member B.G.
“Congratulations, bitch,” Wayne (born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.) said, referring to B.G.’s engagement to his girlfriend, Brooke Jones.
He then angled the camera toward Cannon and said, “And I’m marrying this one. This is Madison.”
After Cannon congratulated B.G. (born Christopher Noel Dorsey), Wayne added, “This is my fiancée. Congratulations. Let us know what color we’re wearing. I’m the best man, you hear me? Love you, bitch.”
B.G., 46, captioned the post, “My lil Brodie gave me his blessings,” tagging Wayne’s Instagram account, @liltunechi.
The announcement comes months after TMZ reported in May that Wayne had quietly popped the question “earlier this year,” though at the time, the outlet only identified his fiancée as a woman in her 20s from Indiana.
Over the years, the “Lollipop” rapper’s other relationships have made headlines of their own.
In May 2025, his ex-girlfriend, plus-size fashion model Denise Bidot, claimed on her Instagram Stories that Wayne had broken up with her and kicked her and her daughter out of his house on Mother’s Day.
“Breaking up with someone on Mothers [sic] Day is diabolical,” she wrote at the time. “Prayers up though. God always pulls me through. Walking with faith.”
Bidot, 40, then accused Wayne of physically abusing her in a separate video posted to her account.
“And it’s not just the emotional abuse. Like, this man has actually laid a f–king hand on me,” she said.
“And you know what’s crazy is they always say we’re so stupid for love. And I thought it was a mistake, but I know other women he’s put his hands on.”
Wayne is a father of four, sharing daughter Reginae Carter, 27, with his ex-wife, Antonia “Toya” Johnson; son Dwayne Michael Carter III, 17, with radio host Sarah Vivan; son Kameron Carter, 17, with actress Lauren London; and son Neal Carter, 16, with his former fiancée, singer Nivea.
The “A Milli” emcee was married to Johnson, his only wife to date, from 2004 to 2006.
