Drivers are being warned of potential delays on the M5 this morning following a large lorry fire.
National Highways warned that traffic was being held on the M5 southbound between J19 and J20 near Clevedon due to a vehicle fire.
Motorists were warned of delays that could last as long as 45 minutes, with around four miles of queues building at the fire.
Emergency crews are in attendance at the blaze to control it, which involved a white van on the hard shoulder.
Traffic cameras show fire engines and a recovery vehicle surrounding the burnt-out van, with smoke emanating from the vehicle.
Lane one was closed for a longer period of time to allow for the lorry to be recovered and removed from the scene.
Posting on social media site X, formerly known as Twitter, the South-West division of National Highways warned drivers.

It called on drivers to allow extra time for their journey, assuring motorists that it would provide further updates on social media.
In the latest update, National Highways confirmed that there were no significant delays or congestion on the section of the M5.
The transport organisation added that recovery and the clearing up of debris were complete, with all lanes now remaining open.
