‘Majestic Unicorn’: Rare Albino Buck With Huge Rack Captured In Viral Video

This has to be a top-tier good omen, right?

Some people like to view me as your average sports blogger, but I also have passions in other realms, which include weather, finance, hip-hop, and if I continued to list them, you would be confused as to how someone like me exists. I’ve got all different kinds of flavors.

@joelord_wi, a user on Instagram, posted footage recently that’s absolutely stunning. Currently going viral, the video shows an albino buck with a huge rack crossing a Wisconsin road.

“Well, I hope this was a good omen for fishing this week in the Wisconsin Northwoods. Can’t explain what it was like getting so close to such a majestic Unicorn! Wild Wisconsin, albino whitetail,” reads the video’s caption.

We talk about rare feats in sports all the time — a pristine shooting season, a pitcher tossing an immaculate inning, or a football team pulling off a miraculous Hail Mary as the clock hits triple zeros. But crossing paths with a full-blown albino buck carrying a massive rack?

That’s hitting an eight-leg parlay against the laws of biology. Biologists usually put the odds of an albino deer somewhere around 1-in-20,000, or 1-in-30,000, even 1-in-100,000, according to Deer Busters.

Seeing one that managed to survive predators, hunters, and winter elements long enough to grow a crown like that is basically nature’s version of winning the Powerball.

I need this kind of luck in my life; maybe I should take a trip to Wisconsin.
