Marvel’s Wolverine star and other actors confirm new GTA 6 roles

GTA 6 fans have spent months dissecting every frame of Rockstar’s trailers in search of new clues, and now it looks like a few previously unannounced roles may have surfaced through multiple actors’ resumes.

With anticipation for GTA 6 at an all-time high ahead of its November 19 release, fans have been lapping up every detail they can find to learn more about the game. Rockstar’s trailers have racked up hundreds of millions of views, while protagonists Jason and Lucia have already become some of the most recognizable characters out there, despite fans still knowing relatively little about them.

Now, it appears another GTA 6 character and more roles may have been revealed before Rockstar was ready to officially announce them.

Marvel’s Wolverine actor scrubs new GTA 6 role from resume

According to IGN, actor Brett Gipson, who is set to play Sabretooth in Insomniac’s upcoming Marvel’s Wolverine, updated his resume to reveal his role in GTA 6 as a supporting character named Ellis. However, the reference to GTA 6 has since been removed from the actor’s resume.

This marks yet another GTA 6 casting detail that has surfaced through an actor’s resume rather than an official announcement. Katie Burke (who also scrubbed the mention from her resume), Ignacio Navarro, Massi Furlan, and Jim Santangeli have all previously revealed their involvement with the game through similar updates before fans spotted them online.

As for who Ellis is, very little is currently known. The character has not been mentioned in any official GTA 6 marketing material, and there is no confirmation that they’ve appeared in either of the game’s trailers released so far.

Rockstar has already introduced several key figures, including protagonists Jason and Lucia, alongside supporting characters such as Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, Real Dimez, Raul Bautista, and Brian Heder. Whether Ellis is connected to any of these characters or plays a larger role in the story remains a mystery.

For now, Rockstar has yet to officially confirm any members of GTA 6’s cast. The studio typically keeps actor information under wraps until close to launch, or even after release, so it remains to be seen whether that approach will change as the game’s release date draws closer.
