A brand new Marvel Rivals skin has been revealed for everyone’s favorite anti-hero, Venom – and it’s about time we finally got a look that turns him into a true villain.
Interestingly, Venom has the most unique skins out of all the game’s Vanguards. Poor Hulk and Bruce only have four, while Venom now has six to his name. However, that doesn’t mean he’s been treated to some stellar designs.
Sure, Cyan Clash was colorful, and Anti-Venom was… well whatever Anti-Venom was, but none of his previous skins really managed to show off the true power Venom actually holds. After all, the alien creature is incredibly powerful, extremely tanky, and has a Marvel Rivals build to back up that strength and then some.
Lingering Imprint finally makes Venom the perfect villain
Now, as we mentioned, the four additional skins (not counting his base one) are unique, but none show off Venom’s true power like Lingering Imprint.
As seen through the looks shared on X, the Lingering Imprint skin looks like a combination of Venom, Iron Man, and Magneto, boasting heavy armor, some pretty impressive gauntlets, and of course the same black and white design he’s known for. All this is enhanced by a yellow glow in the centre and by his eyes.
💥 Make them linger in fear! 👊

Aside from the fact that it was featured in Venom (2018), all you have to do is take one look at this skin, and you can instantly see what role Venom has in Marvel Rivals. His armored-up design proves he’s a powerful Vanguard and a melee fighter — something previous designs often failed to do.
It’s the only skin that provides that tank feeling, aside from Space Knight, which does feel pretty similar to the new design. Nevertheless, this feels like a huge upgrade from previous Venom skins, and it’s about time everyone’s favorite anti-hero finally got the villain design he deserved in Marvel Rivals.
