Milania Giudice’s legal team makes major move in domestic violence court case after family begs her to ‘get help’

Milania Giudice’s court hearing in her domestic violence case has been postponed by more than two months following her recent airport ordeal, Page Six has exclusively learned.

The 20-year-old daughter of Teresa Giudice was scheduled to appear virtually in Montville Township Municipal Court on Tuesday following her May arrest for simple assault, but her attorney requested a later date.

We can confirm the judge in the case granted the request and ordered Milania back to court on Dec. 1.

“Without getting into the specifics, I determined that adjourning the hearing was the appropriate course of action,” her defense lawyer, Alan Kraminsky, told us.

“I join Milania’s family in respectfully asking everyone to give her the privacy and space she needs.”

Last Wednesday, the University of Tampa student caused a scene at Tampa International Airport that required police presence.

Airport cops spoke with an agitated Milania as well as her worried mom and older sister, Gia Giudice, to try to defuse the situation and get them safely to their gate.

In the heartbreaking bodycam footage, one of the officers was heard telling his colleague that Milania “just got out of a Baker Act facility.” (In Florida, an individual can be held in a hospital for up to 72 hours for an emergency mental health evaluation under the Baker Act.)

“They actually hired a counselor,” the officer said. When his colleague asked, “Is she a danger to herself?” the first officer replied, “Yes, that’s why she got Baker Acted. They’re trying to get her back to a rehab facility.”

He also deemed the situation “serious.”

Gia, 25, was seen telling her sister she wanted her to “get better” and that the officers were there to “help” them “take [Milania] to treatment,” but Milania put up a fight.

“Like, what the f–k? I don’t wanna go with you. I have an apartment here. I go to school here. The f–k?” she said to Gia before mumbling, “They put me on a Baker Act. … I’m not trying to control any situation. I’m f–king under conservation from my parents, whatever. The Lady Gaga s–t, Britney Spears bulls–t.”

Milania also screamed at Teresa, who insisted she was “trying to save [Milania’s] life” and that she needed to “get help.”

At one point, the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star claimed to the officers that Milania “has fentanyl in her system,” to which the latter fired back, “Cause I was laced.”

The police report from the incident stated Milania was experiencing a “mental breakdown” and “suicidal thoughts.”

On Monday, after the bodycam footage was released, Teresa, 54, took to her Instagram Story to upload a lengthy statement that read in part, “The past few months have been incredibly difficult for our family, and I feel it is important to say something while also protecting my daughter during an extremely vulnerable time in her life.

“Milania has experienced tremendous heartbreak and significant psychological trauma after losing two of her best friends. Grief affects everyone differently, and watching your child try to process that kind of loss is something no parent can ever truly prepare for.” (Milania’s friend Victoria Zardoya died in late July, and her great-grandmother died earlier this month.)

The mother of four added that her “only focus” right now is making sure her daughter “is surrounded by love, family, support and the care she needs.”

Milania was arrested four months ago after she allegedly “did knowingly cause bodily injury to another, specifically by striking the victim, LR, in the head with her fist, causing redness to the middle of the victim’s forehead, during a domestic dispute” at Teresa and her husband Luis “Louie” Ruelas’ New Jersey home.

Milania pleaded not guilty but vowed to complete an anger management course.
