Allison Ellsworth, the co-founder of the viral, healthier-for-you soda brand Poppi, has opened up about her decision to go under the knife and get a tummy tuck after she shed 60lbs while taking weight loss jabs.

Ellsworth, 38, underwent the 'mommy makeover' surgery in April with renowned New York City-based plastic surgeon Dr Ryan Neinstein.

In dramatic before-and-after photos, mom-of-three Ellsworth's stomach looked noticeably flatter and firmer.

The Austin-based founder first shared the news in a video posted to her TikTok account just days before her surgery.

'I haven't felt confident in my own skin in a while,' Ellsworth admitted in the video.

'My husband loves me exactly how I am, my family loves me exactly how I am, but this is something that I've just really wanted to do for myself for a really long time,' she said.

In a recent interview with People, Ellsworth shared that she had lost weight while taking GLP-1 medications.

'I’d gotten on GLP-1s and lost 60 lbs, and there’s this fine line of wanting to look good, but your body’s been through so much in motherhood and breastfeeding and late nights and building Poppi that I was just not myself,' she told the outlet.

Following the surgery, she shared intimate pictures of her post-op to TikTok, showing herself lying in bed during recovery and getting treatments such as a lymphatic drainage massage.

Ellsworth, who sold her company in 2025 for just under $2 billion, opted for post-op care, which included four days of full-time nursing.

Dr Neinstein often has his patients stay at The Plaza Hotel for their aftercare, which Ellsworth did.

Ellsworth also shared photos of herself going into a hyperbaric oxygen chamber to help repair tissue and wearing compression garments.

In a follow-up video after the surgery, the mom-of-three explained that she knew what to expect going into it all and felt confident with the doctor she chose.

'The cuts, the pain and the swelling, it was not that bad,' she said.

She stressed to other mothers that the pain isn't something that should keep you away from the surgery.

In an update to People, Ellsworth admitted that three months post-op, she's still swollen and just beginning to retire from wearing her surgical garments.

'All my clothes still fit the same,' she admitted to People. 'I thought I was going to put them on and they were just going to fall off my hips.

'Some of the stuff is actually too tight because it takes up to six months to a year for the swelling to fully go down,' she went on.

'So that’s mentally been really hard for me. I’m hurting. You’re fatter than you feel, and you’re just mentally like, "What the f*** did I do?"'

She explained that she turned to an online support group for those who have also undergone tummy tucks, which has helped her a lot.

'I think moms are superheroes, and if you’re doing this mommy makeover, you’ve been through a lot already,' Ellsworth said.
