Three Texas teens have been arrested for plotting to murder their mother after she turned off the WiFi in their home.

Harris County Sheriff's deputies responded to the terrifying disturbance on Barkers Crossing Avenue late Sunday night.

Deputies discovered an adult female who had been assaulted with bricks and knives by her three teenage daughters at the scene.

The unnamed sisters, ages 14, 15, and 16, allegedly coordinated a plan to try and kill their mom after she cut off their access to the internet.

'Because the mother turned off the WiFi, all three grabbed kitchen knives and chased her throughout the house and into the street, attempting to stab her,' Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.

'The mother was struck with a brick. In the process, the grandmother was knocked over while trying to protect the mother.'

The sisters were arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and booked in the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office told KPRC that this incident was the third time deputies had been called to the home since January.

The other calls were for a runaway juvenile and a disturbance involving children who were fighting.

Neighbors told local news stations the home has a bad reputation in the community and is known for its disturbances.

'They're known for that in this neighborhood. There's always cops around that house,' one unnamed neighbor told Fox 26.

'I think that's so crazy. I mean, it just tells how unstable that family is, and it's very sad for them.'

This comes just weeks after a Texas teenager and her boyfriend were arrested and charged with her grandmother's murder in February.

Police had been searching for 17-year-old Tara King and her boyfriend, 18-year-old Uriah Urek, for days after they discovered 61-year-old Tammy King dead at her home when deputies conducted a welfare check, ABC 13 reported.

They had received a call from one of King's friends who said she was not able to get in contact with her and found King dead at her house of at least one gunshot wound.

Galveston County Sheriff Jimmy Fullen announced that Urek and King were arrested in Laredo with the assistance of the Gulf Coast Violent Offender's Task Force, and they were charged with capital murder.

Tara King was a student at Dickinson High School.

Neighbors told local outlet ABC 13 that no one had heard from the woman for days before she had been discovered dead inside her home.

'I hope they find them soon,' one neighbor said before the teens had been captured by law enforcement. 'We are all on high alert.'

Details about the shooting and a motive for the grandmother's death remain unclear.
