Murdered Hamptons hotel guest Sabina Rosas, 33, is pictured in haunting mugshot a year before death

A 33-year-old woman found violently murdered at a $1,250-a-night Hamptons luxury hotel has been pictured.

Staff discovered the body of Sabina Rosas, 33, inside a guest room at the Shou Sugi Ban House in Water Mill on Monday afternoon.

Suffolk County police has called the death suspicious and said Rosas was a victim of violence. 

Rosas, who is known under another surname as Sabina Khorramdel, was arrested in Miami last year for battery and is seen with a black eye on her mugshots. 

Officials said the death appeared to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.

They have not released a cause of death for the victim. 

An autopsy is expected to determine how the woman was killed. 

In a statement, Rosas' heartbroken family members shared their sorrow, referring to their loved one with her alternate last name.

'It is with immense grief that we announce the tragic death of Sabina Khorramdel, our beloved daughter, sister, fiancée, and friend.

'She was found murdered on Monday, October 28, 2024 at a spa hotel near Southampton. 

'As the eldest of three daughters, Sabina brought excitement, adventure, joy, and love to our family. 

'She is survived by her loving mother, father, fiancée, and separated husband.

'We are devastated by this senseless loss and ask for privacy as we navigate this incredibly difficult time.

'We urge anyone with information regarding the circumstances of Sabina's death to come forward and assist the ongoing investigations. 

'Your support during this challenging time is a testament to just how special Sabina was and will remain.' 

Their message concluded by requesting privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved family member.  

Rosas was apparently born in Tajikistan and moved to the US in 2009 at the age of 17.

The retreat offers 13 guest studios across three acres

It offers 13 guest studios across three acres as well as 'standalone luxury residences for short-term rentals,' according to its website.

The studios, which accommodate up to to guests, offer a 'luxurious soaking tub,'  modern gas fireplace, and private garden patios.

Former guests of the hotel include actress Kate Hudson and journalist Katie Couric.

DailyMail.com has reached out to the hotel for comment who are yet to make a statement on the killing.

Residents of the area told News 12 Long Island they were left shocked by the apparent murder at the high-end retreat.

'It's total shock, it's got a good reputation that place and [I've] never heard a bad thing about it. I know people who have used it,' said one local.
