Naomi Watts and daughter Kai Schreiber are teaming up in front of the fashion campaign camera for the first time.
The actress, 57, and model child, 17, are the new faces of Simkhai’s fall 2026 collection, appearing together in a series of in-studio photographs for the design house.
Photographed by Mikael Jansson and styled by Camilla Nickerson, the mother-daughter duo are joined in the campaign by Sage Elesser, Malcolm McRae, Awar Odhiang and Betsy Gaghan.
Throughout the images, Schreiber and Watts model an understated black-and-white palette, designed with textures and materials that wow.
Though Watts and Schreiber were photographed together for The Face magazine back in March, this is the first time they are starring together in a fashion campaign.
“I had worked with Jonathan previously and have a wonderful relationship with him,” Watts shared with Elle, “and when he asked us to both do this campaign, it just felt right.”
Watts shares Kai as well as son Sasha, 19, with ex Liev Schreiber.
Having only just begun her modeling career a year ago, Kai came out of the gate with strength, making her runway debut in March 2025 at the Valentino show during Paris Fashion Week.
In the past 18 months, the teen has also walked the runway for brands that include Jean Paul Gaultuer, Jason Wu, Fendi, Celine and more. Plus, she starred in her own Valentino ad campaign.
“I want to be a supermodel. Period,” the famous daughter shared with Interview Magazine last summer.
“I’ve been practicing my walks in the kitchen for years; my mom can show you all the videos I forced her to film.”
Watts also discussed their mutual love of fashion with Elle, saying, “If I have an event to go to, I always get her to weigh in on my look,” adding, “I think she has a natural understanding of fashion and what looks good on my body.”
The influence cuts both ways, though, as the actress adds that Schreiber is interested in her early aughts closet and has “definitely found her way into claiming a few of my favorite old possessions.”
