The Miami Heat’s new GTA 6 clothing collection includes a nod to the original Vice City, turning the T-shirt players earned for reaching 100% completion into something fans can wear in real life.
Rockstar Games and the NBA team announced their partnership on October 2, launching a Vice City collection ahead of a special basketball game celebrating GTA 6’s release.
Among the designs is a $55 souvenir T-Shirt that echoes one of Tommy Vercetti’s unlockable outfits, but you won’t actually need to complete every mission and track down hidden packages to get this version.
GTA 6 shirt references Vice City’s completion reward
In the original GTA: Vice City, reaching 100% completion unlocks the Frankie outfit at the Vercetti Estate, with the shirt famously plastered with the following: “I completed Vice City and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.”
As spotted by Tex2, an IRL version that references the iconic video game shirt is now being released, along with the tweaked slogan: “Went to Vice City and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.”
The $55 Court Culture “Vice City Souvenir” Oversized Tee is made from 100% cotton and comes in sizes S to 3XL, with pre-orders currently live through the Miami Heat Store. There’s currently no release date set, but the store page does say the shirt will be shipped within five to six weeks.
It’s not just GTA Easter egg shirts on offer either, as the new collection includes Vice City hoodies, caps, and other T-shirt designs.
According to the press release, the clothing range is part of a collaboration that will see the Miami Heat take the court as “Vice City” on November 18, when they host the Milwaukee Bucks at Kaseya Center.
The “A Night in Vice City” event will feature a special basketball court, a uniform the team has never previously worn, and unique programming and live activities. You can check out the full clothing collection via the official Miami Heat store.
