The New York Times has announced who the 63 most stylish people of the year are - and some just can't believe who they chose.
The list, which was published Thursday morning, featured a wide range of stars, from athletes and actors to singers and even the Seine River in Paris, France.
It named the likes of viral TikTok influencers Campbell 'Pookie' Puckett and husband Jett, Kennedy descendant Jack Schlossberg, NFL WAG and designer Kristin Juszczyk, iconic baby hippo Moo Deng, scandal-ridden journalist Olivia Nuzzi and even New York Liberty mascot Ellie the Elephant.
On the list was also Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's 20-year-old daughter Apple, who made headlines this week for her debut at a Paris debutante ball, as well as Love Island USA star Kordell Beckham and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, for her appearance on Traitors.
They even featured politicians like former U.S. Representative Liz Cheney and Representative Jasmine Crockett of Texas.
Of course, the list also included some more 'mainstream,' well-dressed celebs who may have come as no surprise, like Beyoncé, Adele, Larry David, and Zendaya.
'The 63 names on this list, which are arranged in no particular order, emerged as those that may come to mind when asked to picture 2024,' The New York Times wrote in the introduction, which was penned by its fashion news editor, Anthony Rotunno.
'Of course, style is subjective — not to mention a subject of heated discussion, which is partly why this group of people, characters and things made the list this year,' Rotunno continued.
The New York Times' most stylish list featured a wide range of stars, from athletes and actors to singers and the Seine River. New York Liberty mascot Ellie the Elephant was also included
The list also included Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's daughter, Apple Martin, and JFK's grandson Jack Schlossberg
Iconic baby hippo Moo Deng, who went viral earlier this year, also earned a spot on the prestigious list
'Each made us look, think and talk about the clothes we wear, the ways we live or the approaches we take to personal style and self-expression.'
However, it looks like many internet users were completely shocked by the extensive list - as some didn't seem to agree with their takes, even questioning if some of them were a 'joke' or not.
They took to the comments of The New York Times Style section's Instagram account, where the list was posted, to air their thoughts.
'You’re not a stylish person if you’re professionally dressed by a team of stylists,' one person wrote.
Another typed, 'I think you need to fire your style team. Unless this is just a prank....'
'Are the stylish people in the room?' someone else wondered.
A user seconded, 'Nah these are just famous people but nice try.'
'That says a lot about how low the elegance level of our world is!' a fifth penned.
Love Island USA star Kordell Beckham and NFL WAG and designer Kristin Juszczyk got spots on the list

Others even called out the outlet for not including certain celebrities, like Taylor Swift.
'Can we add Taylor to this,' an Instagram user asked.
'NOW WHERE IS MS BILLIE EILISH,' someone else chimed in.
Though, some Instagram users were on board with those who were chosen for the extensive list, especially Ellie the Elephant.
'Ellie cleared everyone,' one user penned.
Another agreed, 'We got @bigellieliberty on the first slide of the NYT best dressed list we did it girls.'
Some users even called out Dylan Bachelet, who was on this year's season of The Great British Baking Show.
'Dylan from great british baking show being in the nyt best dressed of 2024 was not at all expected but very much appreciated and respected,' someone else admitted.
Scandal-ridden journalist Olivia Nuzzi was also featured, as news of her affair with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. broke this year

Surprisingly, the Seine River in France also charted the list of 63 people, which was published Thursday morning
However, this is not the first time that the New York Times most stylish list has made waves with their yearly picks.
In 2022, they were 'mocked' for including Pennsylvania Democrat John Fetterman on their roundup.
Some wrote that they weren't sure what the outlet 'was smoking,' while others, like his own wife, Giselle Barreto Fetterman, raised the alarm when her Democratic husband was bestowed his newest accolade, posting her disbelief on X.
'No, not John Fetterman!! Recount!!' she wrote at the time.
