An Overwatch 2 YouTuber has created a custom game mode, bringing the Marvel Rivals experience over to Blizzard’s title.

The competition between Overwatch 2 and Marvel Rivals has undoubtedly been quite the hot topic in both communities. After all, fans had already drawn comparisons to Blizzard’s competitive shooter even before the latter was released.

While it’s no secret that certain Marvel Rivals hero abilities are similar to those found in Overwatch 2, the game does feel very different when you play long enough.

With that in mind, have you ever wondered what a Marvel Rivals game would look like with Overwatch 2 characters? YouTuber Javofo has created a custom mode to achieve just that, and the results are absolutely mindblowing.

So, what would a Marvel Rivals game mode look like in Overwatch 2? As it turns out, it’s pretty chaotic but also really funny, as seen in the YouTuber’s video.

I was expecting Kiriko to have Luna Snow’s abilities, as they both feel similar to play, and my guess was right. Though nothing could’ve prepared me for the rest of the roster included in the mode.

Cassidy, a hitscan and overall static character, has been turned into Winter Soldier. It’s a refreshing sight to have him being able to dash and pull enemies in. But seeing Cassidy leaping in the air and slamming enemies on the ground, ala Bucky’s ultimate, is just so cursed.

Then there’s also Jeff the Land Shark—which is Orisa in this mode. Staying true to Jeff’s image, the Omnic has been shrunk into a mini-sized character who can drop bubbles, swallow enemies, and dump them on a cliff.

It’s only fair that the creator also made Hanzo as Hawkeye here. His ultimate is the best part as he shoots ‘after-images’ that are actually Echo copies of the enemy team.

Hazard as Venom and Genji as Psylocke look fitting as well, and it’s certainly amusing to see the latter having ‘fake’ butterfly wings when he ults.
