Christmas isn't looking too jolly this year for a man who painfully fell off a ladder while putting up holiday decorations around his New York home.
A man was setting up festive décor in the backyard of his Chatham home on Sunday afternoon when he had an unfortunate accident with the usually useful piece of equipment propped up on the deck.
And his outdoor security cameras captured his intense plummet to the ground.
While working on the top few steps, the ladder can be seen starting to slide backwards on the planks of the deck below.
But in a matter of a second, it completely slipped out from underneath him - prompting him along with a green wire and other loose supplies to profoundly crash to the ground.
He landed on his feet for a brief moment before immediately toppling to the deck floor on his back where he is then captured rolling around in pain.
Not even a minute later, he is seen getting up and quickly limping off the deck to the grass of the spacious backyard - seemingly attempting to walk-off the hurt.
Stephanie Behrens, the man's wife, told Storyful that her husband miraculously wasn't injured from the drop and is happy to share the footage 'now that it's confirmed he's okay.'
