Patrick Clancy makes heartbreaking revelation about his dead children in first interview since mistrial

Lindsay Clancy’s former husband said in an interview clip airing Thursday that he still speaks to his three deceased children “all the time” asking them to “help” him through the pain.

“I talk to them,” Patrick Clancy told CBS correspondent Ross Douthat in CBS correspondent Ross Douthat in his first since his ex-wife’s mistrial for murdering their three children.

Asked what he tells them, he said: “‘Help me.’ All the time.”

Clancy, 36, a former delivery nurse, admitted she strangled the couple’s three children Cora, 5; Dawson, 3; and eight-month-old Callan in the basement of their Duxbury, Mass. home on January 2023.

Her trial for murder, which garnered rapt nationwide attention, ended in an 11-1 hung jury after a lone holdout declined to vote for her acquittal.

Clancy’s lawyers argued though she admitted to the killings, she was suffering from postpartum depression and could therefore not be held accountable for her actions.
