Peyton Manning couldn't resist taking a dig at Jake Paul's victory over Mike Tyson in the ring during ESPN's coverage of Monday Night Football.

The former quarterback, along with brother Eli and guest Bill Belichick, was hosting ESPN's alternative broadcast - 'ManningCast' - of the Dallas Cowboys clash against the Houston Texans at AT&T Stadium Monday night.

Just three days earlier, the boxing world had descended on the same arena in Arlington, Texas to watch YouTuber Paul, 27, take on 58-year-old Tyson

The bout, which had been streamed on Netflix, saw Paul claim a victory over the boxing legend that many have branded a disappointment.

And Peyton piled on the criticism as he took a savage dig at the freak-show when a fight broke out during the Cowboys' game against the Texans.

KaVontae Turpin caught a kickoff nd ran upfield for a decent return before he was brought down.

A mass brawl broke out on the field during the game between the Cowboys and Texans

Manning claimed the on-field fight was better than the bout between Paul and Tyson

However, he got into a skirmish with Houston's kicking team, which sparked a mass brawl involving players from both sides as punches flew on the field.

As the violent scenes played out on the broadcast, legendary former Patriots coach Belichick, referenced the clash that took place in the same stadium last week.

'They just had [a fight[ down there on Friday night, right?' Belichick asked, referencing Paul's bout with Tyson.

'I think this one was better than the one Friday night,' Peyton replied, taking aim at the Netflix showdown.

The former Super Bowl winner wasn't alone in his criticism of the underwhelming clash.

Tyson had looked to be every bit a 58-year-old as he lost to Paul in a unanimous decision in front of 70,000 people at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Friday.

He was sluggish and stiff, stumbling around the ring while failing to make an impact outside of the first 30 seconds - especially as his right knee was in a brace.

Many wondered why it was allowed for a man of Tyson's age and condition to be allowed to take part in such an event against a far younger and fitter 27-year-old.

While others tore into Gen Z YouTuber Paul for taking the cash before knocking around his much older rival with ease, with some branding it 'elder abuse'.
