Elon Musk said that a viral photo of Donald Trump and his inner circle reveals “deep truths” about how the president-elect’s victory was orchestrated by an unlikely group of former Democrats.

The viral snapshot shows the Trump with Musk, Tulsi Gabbard and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — all one-time Democrats — standing at a rally together just days before Trump’s statement victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.

“The Democrats won the election,” one X user remarked — to which Musk replied “Some deep truths here,” admitting their unlikely political paths to get to where they are today.

The shift among the four, who have gone from liberals to staunch conservatives, appears to represent a major shift among American voters, who on Election Day rejected four more years of Democratic rule and chose to put Trump back in the White House.

Trump, 78, has flip-flopped between Republican and Democrat over the years, along with stretches unaffiliated with either party. He had even been outspoken for his support for the Clintons, calling Hillary a “terrific” person who “would do a good job” in a CNN interview in 2007 when she ran for president for the first time — before he later ran against her and won.

However, Trump is now the de-facto face of the Republican Party after securing his second election win and four more years at the helm.

Musk, the unexpected co-chair for Trump’s so-called Department of Government Efficiency, was previously a registered Democrat who championed progressive causes before he became dissatisfied by the Democrats’ positions on free speech and regulation.

In 2022 The Tesla CEO said that he had “voted overwhelmingly for Democrats, historically” but intended to vote Republican for the first time in the midterm elections, according to The Independent.

The 53-year-old also said at the time he believed Trump was too old to run again — but has emerged as one of the incoming commander-in-chief’s loudest and most important supporters.

Gabbard, 43, is a former Democratic congresswoman from Hawaii and who even served as vice chair of the Democratic National Committee.

She unsuccessfully ran for president in 2020 as a Democrat, but ditched the party in Oct. 2022, calling the Democrats “elitist” and criticizing their “cowardly wokeness.”

Gabbard signed on with the GOP in 2024 and endorsed Trump, who since nominated her to serve as his Director of National Intelligence.

Kennedy, tapped by Trump to head the Department of Health and Human Services, hails from one of the most powerful Democratic families in the country.

He ran for president on the Democratic ticket in 2024 before launching an Independent bid. His outsider campaign failed to gain any real momentum nationally, and in August he shocked the country by endorsing Trump for president.

Kennedy helped encourage independents, Libertarians and some Democrats to back Trump for another four years.

The former environmental lawyer and longtime vaccine skeptic, hopes make significant changes to how Americans eat while also slashing government funding.
