Hunter Biden’s $15,800 Malibu rental home has been razed by the Pacific Palisades Fire, DailyMail.com can reveal.
Exclusive DailyMail.com photos show what’s left of the ritzy property, formerly a three-bedroom, three-bath 1950s idyll with panoramic views over the Pacific.
Earlier today, President Biden told a news conference he wasn't sure but his son had been told the property burned down before being given hope that it had survived.
‘It's astounding what's happening,’ the 82-year-old president said during a news conference in Santa Monica, California, earlier today.
‘My son lives out here and his wife. They got a notification yesterday their home was probably burned to the ground.
‘Today, it appears that maybe [it's] still standing, but I'm not sure.’
But the exclusive photos show the $4m home Hunter, 54, shares with wife Melissa Cohen is one of the over 1,000 and counting houses flattened by the four wildfires raging out of control in LA County today.
Gone is the picturesque, white-painted property with floor-to-ceiling windows and in its place, a charred mass of crumbled masonry with only two chimney stacks still standing.

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom home was estimated to be worth $4.2million, but DailyMail.com has learned Hunter was renting it for $15,800 a month
The luxury rental once boasted a gourmet kitchen, and a 'guest studio with private balcony overlooking the ocean that creates the perfect artistic space'.
The studio was used by Hunter to work on the paintings he uses to fund his lifestyle, although any still there have also been wiped out.
Hunter and wife Melissa have been Malibu residents for about three years after making the move from the canals in Venice, California
Also destroyed in the blaze was the neighboring home which had been rented by Hunter’s Secret Service protection detail for an eyewatering $16,000-a-month – the tab picked up by the US taxpayer.
The house is one of several Malibu rentals Hunter has occupied in recent years. His previous residence was also in the beach city.
That Spanish-style pad cost him $20,000-a-month while his security detail were put up in an even more lavish property next door – at a cost of $30,000-a-month.
Despite losing his home to the raging wildfires, 2025 has started on a positive note for the First Son who received a blanket pardon from his father last month, covering all and any crimes he may have committed between 2014 and 2024.
That has put paid to a succession of long-running legal woes – including a Delaware conviction for lying on a gun-purchase form and a Los Angeles tax case.
Hunter had pled guilty to three felony tax offenses and six felony misdemeanors in the California case and had been scheduled to be sentenced last month.

The entrance to Hunter's Malibu property which boasted a gourmet kitchen, and a 'guest studio with private balcony overlooking the ocean that creates the perfect artistic space' - which may have been a major selling point for the president's son
According to the property listing, the home boasts 'mesmerizing ocean views' and 'large windows that give the illusion of being fully immersed and in total harmony with nature'
But following the pardon from his dad, the case was thrown out and Hunter, who had been facing prison time, will remain a free man.
Hunter’s first home in Southern California was a $12,000-per-month rented house in the Hollywood Hills, where he set up his art studio for his new career in 2019. The three-bedroom, three-bathroom mid-century property had a pool and a gated drive.
He then moved to a $4.2million canal-side Venice Beach house in 2021. He and Melissa allegedly left the home in a state of 'disarray and disrepair' and owing approximately $80,000 in outstanding rent, a source told DailyMail.com.
'Hunter and Melissa were horrible tenants. Not only did they stiff the owner for months of rent, they left the house in terrible condition,' the source said.
At the time, the imposing three-story property was owned by Sweetgreen CEO and co-founder Jonathan Neman.
The source added, 'They were totally disrespectful of Jonathan and [his wife] Leora's property.
'Melissa was rude and entitled. They destroyed the stereo equipment in the home and when someone came to fix it, they were uncooperative. They also left the place dirty.'
The former owner allegedly could only shift the property after cleaning up the Bidends' mess and was left out of pocket when Hunter shorted him more than three months' rent, the insider claimed.
Hunter, Melissa and Beau then moved on to Malibu later that year.
First Son and his wife Melissa Cohen have moved into a new $15,800-per-month Malibu pad, DailyMail.com can reveal. And when Hunter moves his Secret Service detail has to pick up stakes as well. They have landed a four-bedroom home across the street at $16,000 per month – funded by none other than the US taxpayer

The home Hunter's Secret Service contingent used was destroyed by the fire as well
Hunter, 53, will be living and creating more art in the seaside home, built by famous architect Ray Kappe, with his wife Melissa, 36, and baby Beau, 3.
The President's son has managed to reduce his other childcare costs in a recent settlement with his reported ex-stripper baby momma Lunden Roberts.
Previously Hunter had been paying Roberts $20,000 per month to support their child Navy-Jean Roberts, after a court battle proved the baby was his despite his denials.
A June settlement brought the figure down, reportedly to just $5,000, after Hunter told the court his earnings had drastically fallen since his shady overseas business deals in Ukraine, China, Russia and elsewhere became public.
Hunter's previous pad was described in listings as a 'resort-style' four-bedroom, three-bathroom home that features high ceilings and a chef's kitchen.
It was also said to have a 'park-like' backyard and shares similar amenities to his security detail's then-next-door mansion like a pool, spa and barbecue.
The cost of Secret Service accommodation while protecting the first family has been a controversial issue for previous presidents.
The agency paid at least $1.2million at Donald Trump-owned properties alone to protect the family of the former president, an analysis by the Washington Post found in late 2020.
While Trump was in the White House, agents paid $3,000 per month for a studio apartment in Washington, DC to provide security for Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump.
The hefty rent was only meant to make bathroom arrangements for Secret Service agents after Kushner and Trump reportedly refused to let them use the toilet in their home.
Pictures from Hunter's new Malibu pad property listing show a mid-century modern interior with a master bedroom overlooking an expansive back yard and ocean beyond.
Lime trees grow in the back yard that also includes a hot tub, with plenty of hosting space for parties.
However, the now-sober Hunter's gatherings may now be more tame than his previous wild bashes documented on his abandoned laptop, including drug-fueled binges with prostitutes in a hot tub at a rented Malibu mansion in 2018.
