Pokemon Go Mega Audino Raid Day event guide

Niantic finally confirmed that Mega Audino will join the Mega Evolution list in Pokemon Go as it will debut soon with its own special Raid Day.

Only a few Mega Evolutions are missing from Pokemon Go by now, and to keep making the list shorter and shorter, Niantic is adding another one to the mix: Mega Audino!

While the Dual Destiny season brought Mega Gallade to the game, the current Might and Mastery season will put the spotlight on Gen 5’s dual Normal/Fairy-type, Mega Audino. Learn all about this special Raid Day, including the date, paid ticket, bonuses, and more.

Mega Audino Raid Day: Date & time

Mega Audino will debut in Pokemon Go with its Raid Day, which will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM local time.

During those three hours, Mega Audino will appear in Mega Raids more frequently, with increased chances of being Shiny to celebrate its debut.

Remember that Mega Evolutions are a temporary form, so after you challenge and defeat Mega Audino, you’ll have a chance to catch a regular Audino. Then, you can trigger the Pokemon’s Mega form using Mega Energy, which you can collect by defeating Mega Raid bosses.

Attack availability updates

Starting with the event and continuing afterward, Audino will be able to learn the Charged Move Moonblast.

Moonblast stats

• Trainer battles: 110 power
• Gym and Raid battles: 130 power

Event bonuses

Players who participate in the Mega Audino Raid Day can benefit from these bonuses:

• Remote Raid Passes limit increased to 20 from April 4, 2025, at 5:00 PM until April 5, 2025, at 8:00 PM PDT.
• Receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs for a total of six.
• Increased chance of encountering Shiny Audino from Mega Raids.

Event ticket

Hardcore trainers can get additional bonuses and items by purchasing an event ticket for US$ 5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency) from the in-game store. The paid ticket includes:

• Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, for a daily total of 14.
• Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid battles.
• 50% more XP from Raid battles.
• x2 Stardust from Raid battles.

The bonuses will be active during the three hours the Mega Audino Raid Day lasts, though the ticket will stay in the shop up until one hour before it ends – April 5, 2025, at 4:00 PM local time.

Players can purchase and gift event tickets to any of their Pokemon Go friends. However, to do so first they must achieve a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.

Timed Research

A free Timed Research opportunity will be available during the event, and those who complete the tasks can earn these rewards and bonuses:

• x10,000 Stardust
• x1,000 additional Stardust for completing a Raid battle for a total of 2,000 Stardust – or 3,000 Stardust for ticket holders
• And more!

During the event, a Mega Audino Raid Day Ultra Ticket Box will be available at the Pokemon Go Web Store for US$ 4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency).
