Pokemon TCG Pocket Sneak Peek Campaign explained

The new Sneak Peek Campaign allows Pokemon TCG Pocket players to uncover an extra card during their Wonder Picks. Here’s how it works and how long it will last.

One of the most common features in Pokemon TCG Pocket is the Wonder Pick, which allows players to randomly draw a free card out of a pool of five from a booster a friend has already opened.

However, an interesting limited-time event called the Sneak Peek campaign improves the feature, so it’s the perfect time to start burning your Wonder Hourglasses to Wonder Pick all you can.

What is the Sneak Peek Campaign?

The Sneak Peek Campaign allows players to take a look at one of the five face-down cards during a Wonder Pick before making their choice of the card they want to keep.

This means that once they turn the first card, they can either confirm that the revealed one is the card they want or they can choose a second one.

As mentioned above, this is a limited-time event that will be available for all players from April 3, 2025, at 6:00 AM UTC until April 10, 2025, at 6:00 AM UTC.

So, players looking to use all their Wonder Hourglasses with the Sneak Peek Campaign will have only one week to do so.

This is perfect, given that the Shining Revelry set was recently released, and there are over 100 new cards to collect.

How to Sneak Peek in Pokemon TCG Pocket

The steps to using the Sneak Peek feature are simple. However, players must pay attention, as not all the available Wonder Picks can benefit from this temporary mechanic.

1. Open Pokemon TCG Pocket.
2. Tap the Wonder Pick square on the left side of the screen, under the available boosters.
3. Select one of your friends’ Wonder Picks.
4. When all the cards are turned, a magnifying glass will appear. Use that to sneak peek.
5. Select a card and tap the “Take a Peek” button.
6. If the card you turn is the one you want, tap it again to confirm your selection.
7. If the card you turn is not the one you want, select another.

The tricky part of this feature is that players won’t know if they can sneak peek at their Wonder Pick until all the cards have been shuffled and a little sign appears.

Sneak Peek odds

Regularly players have a 20% chance of picking the card they want from a regular Wonder Pick. However, with the Sneak Peek Campaign, that chance increases to 40%.

The problem is that the game doesn’t tell players whether or not a certain Wonder Pick can use the Sneak Peek mechanic.
