A group of YouTubers were stopped by police mere seconds after trying to enter Rockstar North’s headquarters in Scotland and get information about GTA 6.
According to Portal Viciados, German YouTuber ÜberGaming and his crew filmed themselves entering the Rockstar North building, where development on Grand Theft Auto VI is underway.
The group reportedly entered the building for a few seconds before authorities later intervened. Police are said to have detained the YouTuber and his crew, taking down their identification details, though they were not arrested.

The incident quickly spread across the GTA community after clips and reports were shared online, with many criticizing the group for trying to turn Rockstar’s heavily-guarded secrets into content.
This isn’t even the first time a YouTuber has visited Scotland in an attempt to get GTA 6 details. Last year, a man flew to the country to ask devs at the studio for info on the game.
GTA 6 has been one of the most closely-watched games in the world since its reveal, with fans constantly yearning for new information.
Rockstar has kept official information limited, which has helped fuel speculation, fake leaks and increasingly aggressive attempts by some fans and creators to uncover more about the game.
However, based on info from insiders and some leaks confirmed by Rockstar themselves, the game is shaping up to be extremely advanced.
Grand Theft Auto VI is currently scheduled to release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with marketing and pre-orders set to begin this summer.
