Portland-area dancer found guilty of sexually assaulting women

A Washington County judge has found a 33-year-old man guilty of sexually assaulting nine women, the District Attorney’s Office said Tuesday.
Police arrested Ali Muhammed Quraishi in March 2023.
Prosecutors said Quraishi met his victims between 2016 and 2023 while he was a dancer at the Silverado and Stag nightclubs in downtown Portland.
They said he got them drunk and then lured them back to his Beaverton apartment where he had sex with them. Prosecutors said the women were in no condition to consent to the sex.
The judge found Quraishi guilty for multiple crimes including rape, sexual abuse, assault and sodomy.
Quraishi is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 6, 2025.
