President Trump on the California wildfires- Truth Social

Governor Gavin Newscum refused to sign the water restoration declaration put before him that would have allowed millions of gallons of water, from excess rain and snow melt from the North, to flow daily into many parts of California, including the areas that are currently burning in a virtually apocalyptic way. He wanted to protect an essentially worthless fish called a smelt, by giving it less water (it didn’t work!), but didn’t care about the people of California. Now the ultimate price is being paid. I will demand that this incompetent governor allow beautiful, clean, fresh water to FLOW INTO CALIFORNIA! He is the blame for this. On top of it all, no water for fire hydrants, not firefighting planes. A true disaster!

Trump nails it.

NO water pressure.

NO flights to drop water due to winds.

0% containment.

But... the mayor his coming back from her trip to Africa. Sure it’ll fix things!

With all the electric vehicles burning up that smoke must be a toxic soup.

Beautiful water may depend upon its origination point.

Awesome. Don’t you know that man is having a blast with all that is happening BEFORE he is President. I hope he is ready to fight the stupid republicans every step of the way to get his agenda realized. Fight Fight Fight!!!!

Those rich homeowners who no longer have homes. Will they blame Newsom? In a sane world they would.

He has another almost 2 years before re-election time. Re-election time because wackadoodle CA can’t wait to check his box again.

California has spent billions on the dumbest ideas ever. High speed rail to nowhere, equity programs, homeless high rises, and every LGBTQ pet project imaginable.

But when it’s time for government to do basic things, they can’t.

Breakdown of the social contract.

“There were several planes operating yesterday.”

Maybe so, but if the water had been retrieved and put in place in advance on site before this the fires may not have reached this point. Tack that on to the vegetation the state did not clear due to ecology desires and you’ve got an uncontrolled situation that stays ahead of the planes before they can get there. California people are threatened due to forest mismanagement that feeds these fires.

The denizens of Pacific Palisades and the surrounding uber wealthy areas - Beverly Hills, Malibu, Brentwood, Hollywood hills - not only vote overwhelmingly democrat they have fund raisers for the likes of Newsom, Obama, Shrillery, Biden - who often fly in for the $$$.

They are getting what they funded.

Honestly, water hydrants wouldn’t have helped much. I’ve seen these winds up close and they really blast down (and up) the canyons.

The tinder brush and grasses that are surrounding and within these housing tracts are impossible to extinguish once going good. The videos of firefighters with hoses are showing efforts to just keep the parks from going from house to house. They aren’t trying to save the houses on fire. The off chance that they could have gotten on top of these fires early is very slim.

It’s really a tragic mess with multiple causes.

Yeah nothing is going to change. This won’t inspire a Californian Renaissance, know what I mean? Hopefully we can have one of those for America someday, but I’m doubtful, Bon.
