A professional poker player claimed he was hogtied and robbed at his Las Vegas Airbnb after winning big at a World Series tournament.
Jared Griener, 40, alleged that thieves made off with $57,000 he had in his backpack after cashing out from the World Series of Poker Main Event, which is held across the adjoining Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas casinos.
Doorbell footage captured a barefoot Griener, 40, with duct tape around his wrist begging a neighbor for help shortly after the alleged robber,y.
Griener claimed that he came home from the tournament at around 8pm on Sunday and found two men waiting inside his rental.
He alleged they tackled him to the ground before hogtying him and placing dishes on his back so they would hear if he began moving.
He claimed they threatened to kill him and so he told the thieves that the money was in his car.
'I was hog-tied and stuck there for a while trying to escape and finally got out and ran out of the house to a neighbor to call 911,' Griener wrote on X.
He said a large police response arrived, including a helicopter, but the suspects were not found.

'Luckily I am physically unharmed. This was the most terrifying and traumatic experience of my life. All my money is gone.'
He alleged the suspects, who he described as two black men, tied him up like a calf.
Griener claimed that the thieves knew the code to his Airbnb and had entered the house 10 minutes before he arrived.
He speculated that someone had been watching him as he competed in the World Series of Poker and knew he was leaving the event with a roll of cash.
According to SpadePoker, Griener placed 218th in the event, which paid him out $57,500.
He added that he had cashed out because he planned to return home to Los Angeles.
'Las Vegas detectives are on the case and doing everything they can to find out who did this and how they had access to the house,' he said.
'That’s all I’ll say for now I don’t want to hinder the investigation.'
Griener speculated that the suspects knew somehow that he was leaving the tournament with his $57,000 winnings and alleged they were lying in wait for him at his Airbnb
Griener has earned $3,348,485 in career live tournament winnings, ranking 865th on the all-time money list, according to the Hendon Mob, a live poker database.
The Daily Mail has reached out to Griener, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and Airbnb for comment.
