‘Project X’-style pool party turns California street into mayhem as hundreds of teens wreak havoc

A California street descended into mayhem over the weekend as a Project X-style pool party infuriated neighbors.

Hundreds of teenagers threw a massive rave in a sleepy San Diego suburb after swooping on a house known for hosting events.

Videos show massive crowds of teens packing the road with music blasting, fires being set, kids launching bottles, and cars racing up and down.

The police were called several times over the course of the night. One report said a teenager was bleeding from the head after being hit with an unknown object, and may have been losing consciousness.

The unrest is a weekly occurrence, locals said.

“The owner of the house had parties every weekend, started in the beginning of the year,” next-door neighbor Jung Chae told Fox 5 San Diego. And there’s evidence it’s getting worse, residents claimed.

“At first it was not that bad, but then the noise level started to get worse and worse,” a neighbor told the outlet, describing yelling, screaming, and more vehicles than the residential street could handle.

A tenant in the party house has described nightmarish living conditions and a lack of privacy. She said partygoers have opened the door to her room well into the night.

“There is no safety. I am not safe in this place,” the tenant said. “I am looking for a place to move.” Teens have been seen crossing into neighboring properties and scaling fences.

The teenage invasion has families concerned for their safety in an issue they feel is not being addressed.

“We see strangers every weekend not knowing who they are, where they are coming from,” Chae said. “My two kids, I have to protect them. They are scared.”
