A young couple was captured on Ring footage quietly coming and going from a Texas apartment where they allegedly murdered a man and lived with his rotting body.
Haley Barber and Leo Moore, both 20, have been arrested and charged with capital murder for the death of Johnny Ross Jr., 53, who allowed them to live in his condo in Garland.
Surveillance footage showed the couple calmly entering and leaving the the apartment after the alleged murder.
The two were caught after Barber tried to sell one of her friends Ross' car.
She allegedly showed the friend Ross' body after he commented on a 'foul odor' inside the victim's home, according to Fox 4.
Barber had told her friend that Ross was her grandfather. When he asked where the relative was, she took him to the bedroom and showed his wrapped-up body.
The friend told his mother and they contacted the police, who arrived to the condo to find a bloodstained couch, a bowie knife, and a white powdery substance, according to the affidavit viewed by Fox 4.
After forcing their way into the bedroom, police found Ross' body wrapped in a rug and trash bags inside the closet. They also discovered bloody towels and shoes inside the closet, according to the affidavit.

Moore admitted to police that he had stabbed Ross in the neck while he was sleeping on the couch. Afterward, the couple left, returning eight to 10 hours later.
Ross was still alive when they came back, and Barber allegedly told Moore to 'finish [Ross] off' because she couldn't watch him suffer. Moore allegedly proceeded to stab the older man in the upper back several times, police said.
They then allegedly wrapped him in a rug and placed him in the closet.
For days, neighbors noticed the foul smell growing stronger and police did not arrive to find the body until several days after his death, according to Fox 4.
Both were booked into the Dallas County Jail for capital murder and evading arrest. Moore also faces an additional theft charge.
