While Christmas can be the most wonderful time of the year, Robin Thicke admits that aspects of it can be “stressful” for parents of young children.

When Page Six caught up with the father of four at The Grove’s annual tree lighting celebration in Los Angeles Monday night, we asked how he approaches the controversial Santa Claus conversation.

“The Santa conversation is a stressful conversation, especially when they get old enough to where the other kids at school [start finding out he’s not real],” Thicke shared.

The singer-songwriter — whose kids are son Julian Fuego, 14, daughter Mia Love, 6, daughter Lola Alain, 5, and son Luca Patrick, almost 4 — explained that he “coaches” his brood with the mentality that “if you believe, Santa will come.”

According to the “Blurred Lines” hitmaker, though, that illusion lasts “about five or six years.” And “sooner or later,” he noted, “that fantasy is over.”

Before heading to the stage to perform, Thicke, 47, jokingly asked us not to “post” his comments, as he had “just ruined Santa for everyone!”

That November, they lost their Malibu, Calif., home to a wildfire.

A few weeks later — on Christmas Eve, to be exact — the musician proposed to Geary, 29, who was pregnant with Lola at the time.

Lola was born in February 2019, and Luca arrived the following December.
