Russian leaders and Donald Trump’s allies have responded to President Biden authorizing Ukraine’s use of U.S. manufactured missile systems to strike targets inside Russia.

Allegedly authorized for use is the U.S. Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), manufactured by Lockheed Martin. Biden authorized the use of the weapons following a large-scale Russian missile strike on Ukraine over the weekend, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urging nations aligned with Ukraine to deploy missile systems not in active use, stating in a post on X:

I am deeply grateful to all our partners who support us with air defense systems and missiles. This is a truly global effort. Every time Russia carries out such attacks, it underscores how critical it is that partners don’t leave systems like Patriot and others sitting idle in warehouses, but instead provide them to those who know how to protect lives and urgently need them.

We still haven’t received all the necessary systems from our allies — but we continue to work toward that goal. Once these systems are in place, our ability to repel attacks will be much stronger.

One more thing: The plan for strengthening Ukraine is the Victory Plan that I presented to our partners. One of its key elements is providing our army with long-range capabilities. There’s been much said in the media today that we have received approval to take relative actions. But strikes are not carried out with words. These things are not announced. The missiles will speak for themselves.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned that such strikes against Russia will provoke a “appropriate and tangible” response, news agency TASS reported:

The Kiev regime’s use of long-range projectiles for attacks on our territory will mean the direct involvement of the US and its satellites in combat against Russia, as well as a radical change in the conflict’s essence and nature. In this event, Russia’s response will be appropriate and tangible…. It is not yet clear whether such news is based on official sources.

One thing is obvious: Amid the failures of the Kiev regime, its Western handlers are banking on the utmost escalation of the hybrid war unleashed against Russia, trying to attain the illusory goal of “strategically defeating Moscow.” However, no matter how much Zelensky and his henchmen hope and pray for it, there is no ‘wonder-weapon’ capable of affecting the course of the special military operation.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated he believes the Biden administration intends to escalate the Russia-Ukraine war before Trump takes office, the Associated Press reported:

It is obvious that the outgoing administration in Washington intends to take steps and they have been talking about this, to continue adding fuel to the fire and provoking further escalation of tensions around this conflict.

Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico responded to the authorization, stating the move further prevents a peace deal to end the Russia-Ukraine war from being reached, and risks the start of World War III, stating:

This is an unprecedented escalation of tensions, a decision that thwarts hopes for the start of any peace talks and an end to the mutual killing of Slavs in Ukraine…. Those who support U.S. President Biden’s decision are in favor of the start of World War 3.

Representative Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) claimed Biden’s authorization is an impeachable offense, and the action is an unconstitutional act of war, stating in a post on X:

By authorizing long range missiles to strike inside Russia, Biden is committing an unconstitutional Act of War that endangers the lives of all U.S. citizens. This is an impeachable offense, but the reality is he’s an emasculated puppet of a deep state.

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) also claimed Biden’s actions are an unconstitutional Act of War, stating in a post on X:

The tale of two Presidents. Biden is committing an Act of War, without approval from Congress, by authorizing Ukraine use of long range missiles into Russia. Trump is planning to declare a national emergency and use the U.S. military for mass deportations to secure our border and protect America from the cartels. January 20th can’t come quick enough.

Donald Trump, Jr. responded to news of Biden’s weapons use authorization, warning of the possibility of World War III breaking out before Trump’s second administration begins on January 20, 2025, stating in a post on X:

The Military Industrial Complex seems to want to make sure they get World War 3 going before my father has a chance to create peace and save lives. Gotta lock in those $Trillions. Life be damned!!! Imbeciles!
