Savannah Guthrie has been slammed by fans for her 'disappointing' Thanksgiving Day Parade outfit.

The 52-year-old NBC Today Show host has been reporting live on the stunning floats that go through New York City on Turkey Day since 2012.

Although viewers are usually mesmerized by the dazzling floats during Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, all eyes were on Savannah's all-black ensemble today.

The journalist donned a pair of leather pants and a padded black jacket.

She protected her blonde tresses from the rain with what appeared to be a Burberry bucket hat and finished the sedate ensemble with a pair of black gloves.

Her cozy look garnered a flood of backlash as viewers flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to criticize it.

Social media users questioned who allowed the blonde beauty to step out in the underwhelming getup as they reflected on her past Thanksgiving outfits.

One person said: 'Who thought it was a good idea to put Guthrie in leather pants?'

Another user added: 'Some needs to tell Savannah Guthrie not to wear leather pants. They look horrible on her. Love Hoda!!!'

Someone else commented: 'Savannah never disappoints. Don't know what's worse, her hat today or the bows during the Olympics.

'She needs a new assistant that dresses her.'

Hoda Kotb - who recently shocked fans when she announced she would be departing from the Today Show - co-hosted the parade alongside Savannah.

The 60-year-old look was a stark contrast to Savannah's as she sported a long white coat, a white beanie and a pair of white gloves.

This year's Thanksgiving Day Parade has drawn in fewer in-person viewers than usual due to the pouring rain and frigid temperatures.

A century after the first Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the annual holiday tradition kicked off again today in New York City with a star-studded lineup of performances from the likes of Jennifer Hudson and Idina Menzel.

This year's parade features 17 giant, helium-filled character balloons, 22 floats, 15 novelty and heritage inflatables, 11 marching bands, 700 clowns, 10 performance groups, award-winning singers and actors, and the WNBA champion New York Liberty.

However, the annual holiday tradition started at 8.30am ET as a low-pressure system moved through the area bringing wind, rain and plunging temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.

Fox Weather forecasts up to an inch of rain with temperatures in the upper 40s and winds around 10 mph.

The parade airs on NBC with hosts Savannah, Hoda and Al Roker and streams on the network's Peacock service.

Al was seen interviewing miserable parade goers sitting on cold bleachers attempting to stay dry.
